Four months later, Naomi asked; "Hey Dad, let's go to Vietnam, just you and me?" Could the ghosts of Vietnam past morph into a new father and daughter relationship in the present?
"I've watched and read a lot about the Vietnam war. Your book is without a doubt the best book on the Vietnam war I've ever read!"
Thanks, BB"

"I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! If you were born in the 50’s, you were affected by the Vietnam war. The author revealed insights into what our combat soldiers experienced. The book was so good, I was sad when I finished it." Cindi S

Love the way the book portrays the issues that not just Christians face, but everyone faces. Jack has captured the issues of life in a way that makes it a must read book. Each chapter is laced with scripture that relates to the Christian's life, to everyones life, and reminds us that God is gloriously good and loving. Although humorous in some chapters, others expose the trials and tribulations that cause us to stumble and fall from Gods grace. The characters are well depicted and the drawings of the characters are amazing. I understand that the author himself did the drawings. Which brings out another talent that Jack Billups is blessed with. I highly recommend the purchase of this book, for yourself, family, friends or Church. God bless you my brother in Christ. Keep on the path way. Much love to you. Swan
Now three more casualties arrived. An older couple, Comfort and Guidance, sat together outside as if they were expecting them.
Chris began, “Hi, please remain seated. My name is Christian, and these are my friends, Sorrow and Faithful.”
Before Chris could say any more, Comfort rose and embraced Sorrow. Chris and Faithful went silent, astonished by Comfort’s keen perception.
Comfort said, “Come, my dear, let’s go inside.”
Guidance stood and, with a deep voice, said, “Gentlemen, come, let’s join them.”
They entered the church where the presence of the Holy One could be felt in the air, like a breeze that came and went. So, without a word spoken, the three bathed in peace.
Then, an upheaval of wickedness towered over Chris with a flash of fire and a gust of scorching wind. Rolling, sneering coils of smoky black clouds separated from a monstrous creature staring down at him with fire and hate-filled luminous eyes. It was none other than Satan himself!
Chris bent his head back and stared upward. Trembling, his face became white as the knuckles that gripped his sword. Chris thought This is not good!
In a deep gravelly growl, Satan said, “I know you! You’re a citizen of mine. I’m the prince of the land you fled; therefore, YOU are MY subject. Turn around NOW and return, or I will eliminate you right here!”
